Before accessing the online application form, please ensure that you had:

(1) Complete the online NTU University admission application form. At least one of the choices of course in your university admission application form should be Arts (Education) or Science (Education). Details about the university admission application can be found at the NTU website;

(2) After you have submitted your university admission application, in order to complete your application for the Arts (Education) and Science (Education) course, you are required to submit an application via MOE TRUSS WebSite

(3) ALL successful candidates must clear their Entrance Proficiency Test (EPT) BEFORE their admission to NIE for the BA/BSc(Edun) course in July each year, if they do not meet the exemption criteria. Under the BA/BSc(Edun) course, candidates specialising in Mother Tongue Language (MTL), MUST also clear their English EPT if they do not meet the English exemption criteria.

(4) Besides the EPT, you will also need to register and clear the Physical Proficiency Test (PPT) conducted at NIE if you are interested in teaching PE.

Please register for the EPT by 1 Apr of each year, if you are not exempted. To find whether you are exempted from the EPT, please check at: http://www.moe.gov.sg/careers/teach/applying/entrance-proficiency-test/english/ Candidates who fail to clear the required Entrance Proficiency Test will be refused admission to the BA / BSc (Edun) course.
