The Challenges You will assess patients with ear abnormalities and/or auditory disorders, make comprehensive audiological evaluations using specialised instruments and electronic equipment. You will conduct habilitative and rehabilitative programs for the hearing handicapped and their family members, including counselling, auditory training, lip reading, and you will prescribe, evaluate and select appropriate hearing aids. You will participate in scientific research related to auditory phenomena and provide education to other members of the healthcare team. You can also expect to contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students. The Requirements - Degree
- Registered with the relevant governing body of that profession, if applicable
- Team player, possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient focus, genuine desire to make a difference
- Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical knowledge and reasoning, critical thinking, judgment and decision making in the provision of care
- Passionate about building a healthcare career, inspired to move ahead with challenges, possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, able to thrive in fast paced environment
