Based in Singapore, you will help Singapore-based enterprises penetrate foreign markets worldwide, navigate through regulatory frameworks and business norms and help them establish strategic contacts with overseas counterparts. You will closely monitor the foreign countries’ business environment and identify key growth industries and develop strategies to help Singapore companies establish a niche in the foreign markets. The International Operations group is divided into the following regions of focus:
· Americas
· China
· Europe
· North Asia & Pacific
· South Asia
· Middle East & Africa
· Southeast Asia
You should have a recognised degree in any discipline with a strong interest / experience in marketing or business development and/or consulting. You should be independent, resourceful and possess good business acumen and excellent communication skills. You must be prepared to travel.
Depending on the region, language proficiency in Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, French, German or Spanish, etc, is an added advantage. (An excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin is necessary for candidates applying to International Operations/ China).
