The IE Singapore Internship Programme is a valuable learning opportunity for motivated undergraduates, who want to contribute and gain practical experience in their area of interest. We are inviting you to apply if you are passionate about international business and are keen to learn about Singapore's efforts to develop its external economic wing. From day one, you will be exposed to a dynamic business environment with growth and challenges. It is a great way to connect what you read or learn about Singapore's business expansion efforts to its people and processes, and get familiar first-hand with how we help Singapore-based enterprises enter foreign markets, overcoming challenges of language and culture. The internship will last for at least 8 weeks and will delve into a number of places, ranging from the emerging economies of neighbouring Thailand and Vietnam, to the robust markets of Japan and the United Kingdom. The basic tenets of research methodology and analysis will be taught on the job. You will be attached to one of the divisions in our local office, tasked with assisting our officers in challenging projects with open opportunities for learning and development. You will also be given the chance to contribute to incisive business research and presentation, and be invited to accompany our officers on official business meetings to acquaint yourself with the conduct of real world business dealings. Ongoing feedback and performance review will be provided by your supervisor to discuss your progress and examine your development needs.
