Responsibilities You will manage relationships and develop long-term engagement plans with International Organisations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation with the twin objectives of securing procurement and business opportunities for Singapore-based companies as well as transferring development expertise to developing countries. You will be required to cultivate and maintain close ties with key officials in International Organisations, foreign governments and private sector enterprises. A significant part of the job will require identification pf opportunities in overseas markets for exports, overseas investments, joint ventures and other business alliances. Requirements: You should have a deep interest in development economics, project financing and multilateral organisations. We are looking for well-rounded candidates with strong written and oral communication skills, a capacity for effective working relations and good planning and events management abilities. Knowledge of development economics and project financing is a definite advantage. You must be prepared to travel extensively to developing countries and able to cope with frequent changes and accept the challenge of working in diverse social and cultural environments. You should have about 2-5 years of relevant experience in development economics, business development, account management or business consulting. You should be results-oriented and able to demonstrate strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills. You should also possess excellent communication skills and are able to perform under pressure in a competitive environment.
