This positions report to the Vice President, Corporate Development.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business units in formulating growth strategies with mid-term financial planning.
- Support business units in identifying and evaluating projects to realise organic growth objective.
- Conduct market research, information collection, collation and analysis of markets’ and companies’ performance, and prepare the research report.
- Develop and maintain financial valuation models.
- Assist AVP/VP in managing several on-going business projects with business partners in the region.
- Assist AVP/VP in monitoring performance of current investees, including analysing and recommending decision making at the investees’ board level.
- Maintain updated database of market, company and competitors’ information
- Preparing departmental budget and quarterly review performance report.
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects including process enhancing projects.
Requirements:
- Entrepreneurial and good business initiative with minimum 5 years of business development experience.
Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions will be an advantage.
- Financial Management/Accounting/Engineering Degree from recognised university
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills and ability to deliver results in fast pace environment and within tight deadlines
- Ability to develop and understand financial evaluation models and conduct investment research
