The Manager, Corporate Services is responsible to:
- Assist the Assistant Vice President in management of wide-ranging corporate services comprising finance, business & operational support, legal & contractual matters, HR & facilities management in support of Corporate Development and VizPro businesses.
- Provide strategic support to Management to ensure company achieves its qualitative and monetary targets set for each financial year via generating revenue, costs control and through streamlining its processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Finance
- Work closely with business teams in performing long-term financial planning and analysis aimed at identifying risks, opportunities, and options that will incorporate into the strategies to provide resources for achievement of Corporate Development and MVI’s objectives.
- Prepare budgets for Corporate Development and MVI and work closely with Business teams and Finance Department to ensure they are flexible and responsive to business needs and operations.
- Communicate financial information, advice and options to project managers on regular basis on profit, cost variances, financial analysis and event costing to improve events/shows/concerts/ from the perspectives of management and profitability.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly reports and budget updates to Management
- Work with external auditors and tax agents on yearly audits and tax matters.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects.
Business Operations
- Provide pre & post administrative support to the business teams in matters comprising contracts matters, settlement of account for completion of each project etc.
- Provide support to handle sales & business contracts with Legal department.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance [Accounting] or Audit background
- Degree holder in Accountancy or Finance-related discipline
- Proficient in PC skills such as Excel and Power-point presentation
- Effectively bilingual
- Strong communication & presentation skills with some sales flair
- Meticulous, must be hands-on & able to work under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to support a start-up team
- Experience in managing corporate services functions such as HR, Legal, Operations, IT etc or in managing new set-up or leading new initiatives will be preferred
- Experience in running the SAP system will be an advantage
