The Challenges 
 
You will provide planned course of radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist, observing radiation safety measures and practice standards. You will prepare and construct equipment such as immobilisation, treatment and protection devices. You will perform simulations using a range of computerised simulation and treatment machines, and will conduct machine safety checks. You will educate patients and their family members or caregivers regarding treatment reactions and post-treatment care. You can also expect to contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.

• Registered with the relevant governing body of that profession, if applicable
