Clinical Research Manager, CRIM-RDO

The Challenges

You will have the opportunity to be part of the Clinical Research Initiation and Management (CRIM) unit of the NHG Research and Development Office (RDO), which aims to facilitate the administration and management of clinical studies to ensure quality and timeliness in the initiation and conduct of clinical trials.

You will be involved in the development and implementation of CRIM infrastructure and unit operations to support the clinical research requirements of NHG institutions. You will oversee the operational aspects of CRIM and to provide strategic direction for clinical research operations in the institutions though direct line-management of clinical research staff, which includes but not limited to the planning and implementation of training programs for clinical research staff, overseeing the development of operational work instructions and guidelines, clinical research resource management and assignment, and establishing and maintaining relationships with sponsoring companies, investigators and institutional research units to optimize the performance of clinical research activities within the institutions. You will also be required to perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Head of Department.

The Requirements

1. Degree, preferably in Science/ Life Sciences / Health Sciences / Pharmacy / Medicine, Nursing from an accredited university.

2.   Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases is essential.

3.   Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical research experience. Previous experience as a Clinical Research Manager or Senior Clinical Research Associate would be preferred.  

4.   Able to work independently and meticulously.

5. Adaptable and have the ability to work under a wide variety of conditions

6. Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination, and time-management skills.

7. Effective presentation and organizational skills. 

8. Knowledge of GCP guidelines and applicable regulations and guidelines of clinical research.
