You are responsible for attending to visitor inquiries at the Singapore Visitor Centre and ensure provision of timely and accurate information. You are expected to proactively acquire a very strong understanding of customers' needs, company products and services and general knowledge to manage all enquiries independently. You will also lead and guide contract and part-time staff by sharing information on product updates, performance targets and operational procedures and perform the role of a buddy for new staff during on-the-job training. You are required to provide feedback to supervisors on matters pertaining to tourists' issues and procedure issues for further improvement and perform administrative duties eg. replenishment of brochures, handling simple correspondences, supporting ad-hoc marketing projects and surveys and preparation of reports. You should have a polytechnic diploma with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the service industry and a good knowledge of MS Office. You should be a good team player with a positive attitude and have an excellent track record in customer service and customer-care related functions. You must have a friendly and pleasant disposition and possess effective verbal communication skills. You have to be highly adaptable in a dynamic environment and be willing to work on rotational shift roster and public holidays.
