You will develop industry cluster strategies to identify opportunities for the conceptualisation of new business events that would increase Singapore's cluster growth, enhance Singapore's MICE competitiveness and achieve growth in tourism receipts. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing and keeping abreast of key local & global industry trends & developments, as well as developing/implementing industry cluster frameworks/event maps. You will also embark on collaborative partnerships with various stakeholders to gain greater industry insight, build strong relations, and leverage on their respective event initiatives. You will be in charge of creating new business events, managing negotiations and developing the event, as well as its successful implementation. You should have a degree from a recognised university with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in sales/marketing or business development/trends analysis or customer account management. You should also possess good business acumen and strategic thinking, strong project/relationship management and negotiation skills. Excellent writing and communication skills with high proficiency in PowerPoint are imperative. A background in MICE or one or more of the following industries is an advantage - biomedical, silver industry, new technologies, electronics & engineering.
