You will assist to oversee the management of the advertising and media buying agencies, ensuring strong agency alignment to the Board’s business and marketing strategies, as well as strong performance, resource utilisation and smooth operations board-wide. This includes working with the agencies to solicit and share ongoing competitive review and analysis. You will work in partnership with the Destination Experience Group, Regional Offices, Destination Marketing as well as STB’s appointed agencies to ensure that there is strategic alignment between the destination Singapore brand and lifestyle sub-brand / associate brand campaigns or initiatives that are developed and executed. As a key interface with the Destination Experience Group, you will advice, manage and undertake strategic marketing communications strategies and campaigns for lifestyle sub-brand. Responsibilities include performing all executions for campaigns such as writing briefs, providing consolidated feedback to agencies, attending briefings, photoshoots and videoshoots, approving copy and final artwork for all ad insertions as well as developing and sharing ongoing campaign analysis to continuously strengthen the campaigns, improving efficiency of media budgets and achieving the right marketing mix for various types of campaigns and meeting marketing objectives.

 

You should have a degree in marketing or business from a recognised university in Business, Arts, Marketing, Journalism, Media or Statistics with at least 3 years of marketing experience preferably from the tourism, entertainment or FMCG industry. Experience in agency management is preferred. You should have a keen numerical sense and strong experience in understanding agency fees, market rates for third-party costs, cost of rights, loading fees, etc and be able to manage marketing budgets tightly base on this understanding. You should be well-attuned to intellectual property rights and the legalities of using marketing communications materials. Being in a role with high amount of interface and communications, having excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal skills are critical.
