You will support the Business Development 2 (Exhibitions and Conventions) team in assisting the managers in effectively targeting and confirming business events for Singapore. This includes conducting environmental scans of key exhibitions and trade conferences both in the region and internationally for potential business leads. You will also track and update the team’s progress on achieving the overall BTMICE targets. You play a significant role in the preparation of customised pitches to identified events as well as in the planning and execution of site visits for key decision-makers in Singapore. You will also provide integral assistance for events supported and/or hosted by STB, such as exhibitions and trade conferences endorsed by STB as well as networking events organised by STB. You will provide general administrative support to the team as well as perform customer service fulfilment requests when required.

You should have a local polytechnic diploma in Accounting or Business with at least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the public sector or civil service. Candidates with the ability to work independently and possess relevant experience in events management as well as strong logistical and administrative management skills-sets would be preferred. A deep working knowledge of Government procurement procedures and GeBIZ is advantageous. You must possess initiative, strong team-spirit as well as have a keen eye for details. You must also have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
