Responsibilities: Prepare pipeline/innerduct and cable project schemes for the implementation of wired network infrastructure projects. Prepare pipeline and cable project schemes for Outside Plant Diversion projects. Prepare project schemes for Fibre Equipment Layout in MDF/TER rooms. Perform site survey for MDF/TER rooms. Update MDF room layout diagrams. Perform site survey to determine the location of the FSH and the addresses of high rise residential buildings. Assist Planners in the taking over of the MDF & TER rooms from building developers to SingTel. Prepare MDF/TER/IDF/FDF/Cable Tray project schemes. Check and update fibre pairs, fibre terminations, fibre node addresses and fibre cable code information record in the “Fibre Record” System.
Requirements: NITEC in Engineering, preferable in Telecommunication, Info-communications Technology or its equivalent. Minimum 1 year experience in the Telecommunications or Info-communications industry. Strong working knowledge in basic telecommunications infrastructure. Those with experience in telecoms cabling drawing using CAD, CCNA certified and possesses class 3 driving license will have added advantage. Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under minimum supervision.
