Responsibilities:

• Consolidation of Group results.
• Preparation of Group performance reports on a monthly basis.
• Preparation of quarterly announcements to SGX/ASX, and checking of all financial documents released on the results (e.g. analysts’ slides, press release).
• Advise business units on the accounting treatments of complex transactions.
• Preparation of annual report.
• Liaison with external auditors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy from NTU.
• At least 3 years of experience from one of the big 4 audit firms.
• Some experience in consolidation would be an advantage.
• Meticulous, able to check own work, and ensure no major error (margin for error is low).
• Able to present work done in a simple and clear manner.
• Able to plan and deliver work within tight timelines given.
• Able to work in a highly stressed environment during quarter ends, and be focused.
• Must strive for consistently high-quality standard of work, as reports are presented to external parties or the Board.
• Analyse accounting issues and draw good conclusions.
• Must be able to write reasonably well.
