Responsibilities:

  • Submarine Cable Capacity
    • Liaise with Submarine cable System Network administrator(s) on submarine cable capacity assignment and activation request.
    • Align and tally cable investment usage and records in respective cable system.
    • Coordinate with overseas counterparts on the conversion cable capacity prior to raising assignment request.
    • List and track capacity usage in each country and each cable with Product view.
    • Benchmark prices for key speeds in each country.
  • Generate monthly reports on circuits due for renewal and track the renewal rate.
  • Maintain product costing and information including update to web portal.
  • Track operating expense, raise accrual request and prepare monthly variance report.
  • Be single-point of contact (SPOC) for cost allocation to product and segment.
  • Handle invoice and payment verification. Raise service order and entries and prepare justifications.
  • Monitor and ensure that credit adjustment due to overcharging by Service Providers is rectified.
  • Prepare reports for:
    • Monthly financial variance report  (CAPEX and OPEX).
    • Key expense drivers for traffic expense components.
    • Cost allocation report for products and segments.
    • Monthly circuit contract renewal list.
    • Track and prepare capacity utilization report.
    • Monthly summary of capacity assignment in major cable systems.
    • Traffic impact by product.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as well as in a team.
  • Good technical writing and communication skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal and a team player across different groups and levels.
  • Possess drive and energy to explore new ways of doing things to improve customer service.
  • Savvy in window applications software skill such as MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Access.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as a team.
