Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced IPTV system components.
• Efficient operations and maintenance of IPTV system to ensure service availability at all times.
• Constantly study and implement changes where necessary to improve existing operational processes and procedures, so as to provide optimal quality of service to both internal and external customers.
• Constantly review and ensure adequacy of resources to cater to the traffic volume, so as to meet demand at all time.
• Closely monitor services and systems performance, and take proactive actions to avert service disruption.
• Carry out investigations of customers' billing disputes, customer complaints and all services related problems in a timely and effective manner to achieve superior customer satisfaction.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Good Diploma from a recognized institution in relevant field.
• Proficient in operations and maintenance of advance complex system.
• Strong in technical troubleshooting and dealing with technical problems.
• Relevant knowledge and skills in Microsoft Windows base applications, such as Windows Server, Windows Network Security, Microsoft SQL Server Database, Microsoft Operations Manager, MS.NET Solution Architectures, and Web Server Skills.
• Relevant experience in administration of Windows, Sun Solaris/Linux UNIX based servers, Storage system for HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array (MSA) and HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Arrays (EVA), Fortinet Firewall, and Relational Database.
• Good knowledge in networking technologies, IP switching, IP routing, multicast, unicast, RTSP, TFTP, and IGMP.
• Relevant scripting skills in languages, such as Perl, C shell and SQL query would be helpful.
• Able to communicate with people effectively.
